These four questions represent common problems in asset tracking and maintenance. FlowTrac has a solution that can help you answer these types of questions. Not only the tracking of the asset, but also warranty policies, insurance policies, work order history, service history and more.

Our AssetTrac solution uses a variety of barcode scanning technologies to trap the check in and check out of your asset. Employee badges are also scanned so you can know not only who took the asset, but who handled the check in/out transaction. FlowTrac’s mobile platform can scan and post to your back end database, real time, as it happens. No scanning for a while, and then going to a cradle or cable to upload the latest data. FlowTrac’s mobile platform will scan and push the data immediately to your backend database. REAL time, NOT batch time. If Wi-Fi or cellular is not available, no problem. Data can be saved locally on the mobile device and then auto synchronized when connection is available via Wi-Fi, cellular, or cable.

 

  • Asset Master
    • Asset Unique Tag Filed, Alpha Numeric. Auto Generated on Asset Receiving or Manual OverRide to match Pre-Existing Asset Tags that might already be implemented frm a previsou system.
    • Asset Barcode Label Print / RePrint.  Third Party Label Software Not Required.
    • Location (Warehouse) and Bin where Asset is located
    • Product Link allows Assets to support all the Categories and Fields supported on a Product. For example all Monitors can be linked to a Product Samsung 2324 to give quick review of Samsung mopnitors versus Dell monitor products. Drill Downs will take you through the specific Asset Tags under the Product as well as their Locations.
    • Date Asset was Created is Auto captured
    • Condition Of Asset can be set by User defined Conditions in Condition Master File
    • Lot Number may also be assigned to Asset Record.
    • Activity may be shown in a data grid of Date Time of all movement of the Asset, as well as Condition, User that handled the transaction.
  • Policies
    • Unlimited Insurance Policies and Dates in effect may be defined as Policies are renewed and expire.
    • Unlimited Warranty Policies and Dates in effect may be defined as Policies are renewed and expire.
    • Notes on individual Policies support all Note features of manuals, pictures of individual policy
  • Schedule Services
    • Service Codes may be User defined in the Service Code Master File and added to each Asset Record.
    • Days and Months may be set for service intervals of Service and Last Date Service was performed.
    • Unlimited Service Schedules may be set on each Asset
  • Service Orders
    • Order may be created with designated issue reference.
    • Orders may be assigned to specific User Role, to provide a display of Tasks to any Logged In User that needs to be performed on Assets
    • Products may be Picked to a Service Order and consumed in the process of servicing the Asset
  • Components Add/Remove
    • Assets may be Added or Removed to and from other Assets.
    • Components move with the Parent Asset during Activity of Check In or Out
    • Component Of column in data grids give immediate indication that an Asset resides inside of another Asset
  • Notes
    • Define as many Notes as possible. 250 characters allowed for Note comment.
    • Files, Pictures, Manuals, Scanned Documents, and PDF’s can be uploaded and attached with each specific Note created
    • Notes can be set as Pop Ups throughout the FlowTrac system when the Product is being selected.
  • Check Out
    • Asset may be Checked Out to Accounts (Customers, Contractors, Suppliers, Vendor, etc…) or Users (Log In Users, Employees, etc..) at any time.
    • Date Time and Condition data is logged.
    • Assets Checked Currently Checked Out are shown in Account Module and User Module for quick Drill Downs.
