Min/Max settings refer to the amount of a product that you keep at your location. You choose a quantity range and the system will help you stay within the min/max parameters. You can set the min/max of each product at each warehouse separately. These can be easily edited later based on the changes in average sales, space, manufacturing volume, or otherwise. The min/max setting help you manage your inventory by providing reports of what should and should not be ordered. For example, you can create a PO based on what the software tells you that you need to get back up the the minimum quantity you like to keep on-hand at your locations. Setting min/max is not a necessary function, nor does using the setting lock you down in anyway. You still have full freedom to order more than you max, and go under your preferred minimum.
- MENU->INVENTORY->MIN/MAX SETTINGS
- Fill in the min and max for each product at each warehouse that you want. You can also leave blank anything you aren’t currently concerned with tracking in this way.
- The numbers you enter save automatically. You can close the window.
