Whether you are adding a section, shelf, bin, cabinet or other location, you will first select your warehouse from Administration window.
- MENU->ADMINISTRATION->WAREHOUSES
- The Warehouses grid will open. Click on the warehouse (second column, blue hyperlink) you want to add a bin to.
- The Warehouse maintenance window will open, click the Bin button (top right corner). The Bin button will show the current amount of bins assigned to this warehouse. If there are exactly 18 bins, then you have not added any yet; the first 18 bins just default types and should be left alone.
- The Bins grid will pop up, click the add button (bottom right corner, second button from the left) to add a new bin. *For bin Type, select “Inventory” unless otherwise discussed with your Flowtrac representative.
- The “Bin – Add” window will pop up; all fields with a red asterisk must be filled in for the system to save and add the bin to this location. The system will auto-populate the Bin Location to be the same as the Aisle name. Click the Create button (bottom left corner, first button from the left) when done.
- This will bring you back to the Bins Grid, close out of this grid by clicking on the “X” (upper right corner, second button from the left).
- This will bring you back to the location Maintenance window. The Bins button (upper right corner) will now reflect the extra bin that has been added. Click the Save button (lower left corner, first button from the left) to save the new bin.
