The allocation of inventory refers to reserving specific inventory for a specific pick order. It is a tool you can use to organize and manage the movement of your inventory. Inventory that has been allocated to an order cannot be used elsewhere without overriding or un-allocating the inventory. Allocation is designated during the creation of the pick order. If you do not allocate inventory, your order picker will be free to grab any inventory.
- MENU->PICK->ORDERS->
- ADD a new order or open an existing one you would like to go back and allocate.
- Upon choosing what products to add, you can use the grid of product options to select which inventory and where you want it pulled.
- Click “Save”.
